The PPE we needed for this task were boots and gloves. Boots in case something heavy fell on my foot. Gloves to protect your hands from splinters. To build the stud wall I measured the doorway to cut the timber for the head and foot. These were fixed using 75mm bright wire nails. These were fixed in line with the edge of the plasterboard. Then I measured the vertical studs and cut these. Both side vertical studs in place using 75mm bright wire nails. I then fixed vertical studs in the centre of the opening. I measured 1200mm from the floor to the wall on each vertical stud. I measured and cut the horizontal noggin and fixed them using 75mm bright wire nails. The bit I found the most fiddly was cutting the vertical studs because we had to get the right measurement. The tools needed for this job were
