task 2 form studwall to infill doorway

Task2 was to  infill a door way.

The PPE that I wore was- boots, goggles, gloves and mask.

Tools: hammer, panel saw, nails 75mm bright wire and crow bar, 62 x 37mm CLS (Canadian lumber standard), tape measure, tri square,

I started measuring and cutting the head and foot. I then fixed the head and the foot using 75mm bright wire nails. These are fixed in line with the back edge of the plasterboard. I then measured the vertical studs and cut these. I then fixed both vertical studs in place using 75mm bright wire nails. I fixed the middle vertical stud in the centre of the door opening using 75mm bright wire nails. After this, I measured 1200mm from floor to wall on each vertical stud. Finally, I measured and cut noggins and fixed them, using 75mm bright wire nails.
